4 out of 5 stars Very fun, but grandson broke out   May 5, 2008
Mrs. L. Ziliak (Midwest)
My grandson loves this toy, but I had to put the people away. We tried washing the people with different safe soaps, putting it in the dishwasher, everything. But he still breaks out every time he holds one of the men. Not sure if these were made differently because none of the Little People have broke him out.

He still enjoys playing with it though, we just use other Little People.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic Fun for Boys!   May 5, 2008
WyndeChilde (Newport News, VA)
My son is 3 and a half, and he absolutely loves this toy. I'm amazed at how many times he plays with it every day and doesn't get tired of it. I also have 21 month-old twin boys who love it and fight over it all of the time. They love the little truck that comes with it, and they like to throw the boulders across the room and watch them bounce (they're really more like ping-pong balls). This toy is also extremely durable. The twins have thrown it out of their cribs at least 50 times, and nothing has broken or been damaged.

5 out of 5 stars Lot's of Construction fun   January 30, 2008
K. Clark (UT, USA)
My 2 year old loves this toy. Lot's of things for him to explore. The boulders can be 'blown up' with dynamite, scooped with the shovel or carried away with the dump truck. There is even a compartment to store the boulders till next time. With two moveable figures it is great for imaginary play. Thumbs up to Fisher Price. Just don't pay too much! Suggested retail is around $20 bucks!

4 out of 5 stars My 2.5 year old is enjoying this.   January 21, 2008
D. Johnson
My 2.5 year old is really enjoying this toy. He likes all of the different ways to dump the boulders into the little truck that comes with it or even with other toy trucks that he has. I wouldn't call this an educational toy as such, but I can tell that he is thinking/learning with the different ways to roll the boulder through the different chutes and have it get into the truck.

It is worth noting that these little people are a little different than the other ones that he has. These bend and swivel at the waist. Plus they can hold stuff like the shovel that comes with this toy. That means that they won't lock into more traditional little people toys. My son got the little people fire truck at the same time. It has one figure with it that also bends and swivels. So, he likes to combine this toy and his fire truck. It has worked out fine for us, but I wanted to point out that there are different types of figures.

5 out of 5 stars Eddie and his Boulder Worksite   January 12, 2008
D. Simons (Santa Cruz, Ca)
Gave this toy to my grandson for Christmas, and he has enjoyed it since he opened it. It is a toy he can play with independently. He loves the idea of being able to bend the little people and add other toys to this set. It is a great gift for a 3-4 year old!
