5 out of 5 stars Chore chart   November 22, 2008
D. Doehler (Santa Clarita, CA)

We use this as a chore chart and to line up school work. We bought one in a store on vacation and had to have another for our youngest daughter. They have fun moving the pieces and know what their chores are ahead of time. A great product that kids can relate to!

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic product!   November 17, 2008
T. Nicholson (California)
This product is great and better constructed than most others on the market. I was searching around for something like this and other reviewers helped me to purchase this one and I am so glad I did. It will last for a loooooong time. Even when my 5 year old outgrows it I know I can use it again with my 2 year old when he's ready. Great product with an exceptional price!

5 out of 5 stars Great for Toddlers!   November 9, 2008

My daughter has always been a very good girl and we don't have to nag her to pick up, be nice, etc. But she has always wanted to "help" do things. Now she has her very own chore/to do list and she gets a big kick out of filling up the board with smiles! We can switch up the list or keep it the same depending on if she gets tired of the routine. So far things have stayed put, she's got smiles across the board and I've found MY chore list is shrinking! Woooohoooo! :)

5 out of 5 stars Great reinforcement for responsiblities   October 25, 2008

It has helped our children realize what their responsibilities are with us feeling or sounding like nags. It is great!

5 out of 5 stars Great tool for helping young kids learn responsibility!   October 18, 2008
Mom of twins (Oklahoma)
I purchased two of these for my 4 year old twins. I love that it comes with a variety of responsibility magnets that you can change out, based on your child's needs and age. It even comes with blank magnets so that you can write in what you want. More than anything, the chart has helped to clearly define expectations for our kids. They know what we expect them to do, and all we have to do is remind them. Since we've implemented the chart, my twins have been sharing more, hitting less, and picking up toys without the usual battles. They'll even say, "Mommy, I shared my car/doll!"

My kids have been very enthusiastic about sitting down each night and going over their chart. We've also added an extra reward--if they get all their happy faces for the day, they get a quarter for their piggy banks. Since they love putting money in their banks, this works great for us.

This is by far one of my best purchases! Next, I am planning to get the calendar to reinforce the days of the week/months, etc. with my twins before they start school.
