4 out of 5 stars Childrens Bank   September 6, 2008

We were happy with this bank. It was just right for my 5 year old who asked for it and his big brothers thought it was cool too.

2 out of 5 stars Big hit with great disappointment   August 15, 2008
Frustrated Mom
This money counter was great for a short while, but the spring mechanism could not hold up to the use.

1 out of 5 stars money jar   July 22, 2008
H. Samman (USA)
Our money jar broke after the first use. It's cheaply made and not worth the trouble. Its spring mechanism broke at the count of 76.00. I can't return it since I threw away the receipt, so I think we are stuck with a very expensive plastic jar!

I purchased this for my granddaughter. I have had one for years and they are great. I love being able to put my change in it and then get it to $100 to take to the bank. The bank tellers love it. They try to see how accurate it is. It is very accurate. My granddaughter loves watching the money add up.

3 out of 5 stars Good Idea, Poor Manufacturing   April 27, 2008

It has a nice look and the kids do enjoy putting the money in it and watching the value go up and counting along with it. It is an enjoyable product. Unfortunately the manufacturing of this product is really poor. I bought two, and one was faulty. Being a doit yourselfer I popped it open and found that one of the wires broke free from the soldering point. It was either soldered poorly or nor connected at all. The wires were very fine and thin, so it may be that the wire is too fragile to handle shipping. Fortunately, I soldered it and that fixed the broken one. Having to fix something you have bought new, though, is really not an enjoyable customer experience which is why I gave it a average review and terrible durability rating.
