Product Description
LeapFrog's Fridge Farm can be played with on the fridge or on the floor. Toddlers will love mixing and matching the animal pieces to make more than 25 wacky combinations. With each mix or match, children are introduced to animal names, sounds, fun facts and lively learning songs. There's also a Farmer Tad music button that plays five banjo tunes. When play time is done, the magnetic pieces store on the barn. The carrying handle makes it easy to tote. Requires 3 "AAA" alkaline batteries (included) and includes an automatic-shutoff feature.

Amazon.com Product Description
Moo! Oink! Bow-wow! Toddlers from one to five years old will love making wacky animal combinations with this LeapFrog Magnetic Animal set. This toy teaches kids all about animals, as it plays learning songs, fun facts, and sounds. Toddlers can make up to 25 combinations with this magnetic puzzle, and it can be played with on the refrigerator or floor. When two matching pieces are inserted into the farm, a cheerful electronic voice says the animal name. If the pieces mismatch, the toy creates a silly name for that animal. Matches are positively reinforced and the toy makes mismatches seem funny rather than wrong. When set to music mode, Farmer Tad plays five banjo tunes for a real barnyard hoe-down.

Down on the Farm
The Fridge Farm is a great set to travel with. All pieces store on the back of the barn and a carry handle allows easy transport from place to place. The toy's resilient construction withstands wear and tear and holds up nicely to rough child play. With this toy's open-ended format toddlers can create any hilarious combination they choose. It features strong magnets to keep it from falling off the fridge and a lightweight construction so the child can carry the fun from room to room. A handy volume switch keeps the music at an enjoyable level. This toy is easy for little fingers to manage and convenient for parents to store. It requires three AAA batteries (included).

Fun Award-Winning Features
The fridge farm encourages creativity, as your child mixes, matches, and makes zany animals. Bright colors and lively animal songs make the Fridge Farm a family favorite. Loved by parents and their children, this award-winner is both educational and fun. In 2004, it received the prestigious Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal Award. Superior quality, easy-to-grasp pieces, and lively banjo tunes make it a great addition for any toddler's toy box.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT Product!   December 2, 2008
J. Creamer (Long Island, NY)
I was looking for some magnets to put on the fridge for my 15 month old daughter to play with. I came across this and purchased it. My duaghter loves it! She is just learning animals and what sound they make so this toy is the perfect tool. She loves taking the pieces out and making matches. Very cute toy. Would definitely purchase again!

5 out of 5 stars A Favorite Toy!   November 22, 2008
Hope G. Lewis
I bought this toy for my grandson who just turned one. He LOVES it! The sounds are great and he loves putting the pieces together. He likes to take all of the animal pieces and arrange them on the refrigerator. The handle on the toy makes this item easy for a one year old to carry himself! Bravo Leap Frog!

4 out of 5 stars Musical fun for littles/volume control for parents   November 22, 2008
Tayleah Surratt (Rocky Mountains, USA)
I bought this for my son after he fell in love with the one at his grandmother's house. He still really likes it and now that he is older (14 months when we bought it)he dances to the music. Overall it is a cute toy. Here is a summary:

Pros: Engaging, bright colors, the animal shapes are fairly easy for little hands to manipulate, relatively small foot print on the fridge, portable, off switch (yeah!), two volume levels.

Cons: Paint comes off easily when bitten/gnawed/scraped--as kids do, animal pieces can fit into little mouths if determined (mine is), portable--can become a projectile!

I wish the programming would announce a message as soon as an animal is created instead of them having to push both pieces together at once in order for the song about the animal to be activated.

Still, a fun toy for the price and helpful for when you need to be in the kitchen, just don't expect to hear much of anything else.

5 out of 5 stars go buy it   November 15, 2008
Mother of 7 book lovers (alaska)
This is a great baby/toddler age toy. I haven't met a kid that age yet who didn't love it. It's a wonderful distraction in the kitchen...they let go of your leg, quit whining, and start dancing and playing even if they are hungry.

Perfect gift. My daughter loves it & it keeps her occupied when I'm making dinner! She dances to the songs and is learning the animal sounds.
