Terrific toy. Fosters pretend play. Very educational, but extremely fun, too. Great aid in teaching animals and animal sounds. Excellent wooden construction. Very sturdy. Big enough for small children, also. Both my 9 month old and my 2 year old love these toys.

Worth the investment! These critters are hard to find so buy the whole set when you see them because they will be snapped up in no time.
There are two sets: one of barnyard and one of zoo animals. These little animal collections are great for kids 3-8. They are durable, allow the imagination to soar, and can be used in so many play situations. They are a great addition to wooden block sets and are very hospitable to multiple kids smashing them about.
The legs are made with a high density rope and the wood is finished to a soft buttery feel. This is well made, unusual, and a toy that will be treasured for generations to come. A great set for Grandma's or Auntie's house. This toy will not survive any dog that loves to play with sticks because it smells like a stick; ohhh to find this on the floor and gobble it down would be a golden retriever's delight. P.S. Hippo is awesome with her smile and matching felt ears and tail! The grey body paint is a nice tone and contrasts with the other toys in this collection. The nostrils made us giggle.
