3 out of 5 stars I added supports to make this pool work   October 3, 2008
Jackie S. (Houston, TX.)
I was able to inflate and deflate this pool with my little $20 electric pump each time in about 3 minutes. The colors are great but the 3 sides do not hold up. They flopped over to one side. I had some large yard windspinners I bought from the dollar store over the summer and I staked one spinner in the ground next to each of the 3 tree stalks and wound a thicker string around tying a stake to each tree part. It worked fine and help up the tree part fine and the pool supported the weight of the water and hose without any problems. The pool stayed up for 3 days in the yard until we took it down to cut the lawn. You can use inexpensive large wooden dowels as long as they are tall enough to add support to the pool. The spinners added to the festive look of fun in the sun. The water doesn't come out like the picture but the babies liked the low steady stream that wasn't too much for them. The pool protected them from the sun and they could see all around them and the sides didn't collapse when they leaned on the sides because they were supported by the wooden dowels. With a little inexpensive engineering we fixed the flaw and the kids had a great time in an inexpensive pool, we paid $19 for ours.

4 out of 5 stars I bought this pool for the shade and I like it.   September 26, 2008
Jamie from Chicago (Chicago, IL)
I like this pool, but the air tends to escape from the top and from the tree trunks, and needs to be re-inflated often. But once it is fully inflated, it provides good shade for the little ones.

5 out of 5 stars Great for the cost!   August 19, 2008

I don't agree with many of the reviews on this pool. I bought it and think it's great...especially, considering the low cost. I paid $20 for it and it works just as advertised....also what do you expect for a $20 pool? I thought it was a great value for a roomy pool with a canopy AND a rain shower feature! The arms that hold up the canopy must be blown up fully to hold the canopy up. Be sure to buy a cheap pump (mine cost $5) to do this. Blowing it up with your mouth will not do the trick. Regarging the rainfall feature, I will admit it was a bit tricky at first, but the key is to just turn the water hose on just a little bit. My daughter just had a pool party with a couple of friends and the other mother's liked the pool so much that they bought one for their house.

4 out of 5 stars Good Fun for the $   August 14, 2008
D. Brown (PA)
I bought the pool despite the poor reviews -- and, frankly, we too have issues if you want to have the rain shower...but, who wants cold water pouring on your head anyway. The canopy has worked for us but on occasion slips to one side. For the $...frankly I think it is a great little pool.

1 out of 5 stars I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing!   July 29, 2008
C. Tracy
Our little wading pool sprung a leak and since we are experiencing record high temperatures, we headed out to buy a new pool. I like the idea of this one because of the sun canopy and the train effect (my kids love sprinklers!)

However, this pool is a total piece of junk. We used an electric infalter and found that it is impossible to inflate the pool to the point that it can support the canopy. I offered to hold it up so that my kids could play, but when we turned on the water feature, the whole thing collapsed because the top does not disperse water properly.

Now my small children are afraid to go near it because it collapses on to them. With the high cost of shipping, it isn't worth it to send this thing back. $20 lost, lesson learned.
