5 out of 5 stars Great educational toy!   April 6, 2007

These blocks snap very easy, just make sure they are on the floor. I first started locking them by holding 2 of them in my hands and it did not work well! Once we realized that we have to lay a tile on the floor and just snap another onto it (and another, and another...) it became soooooo easy, simple and natural that my kids prefer snappers to megablocks and legos.
The best part is that the results can be seen almost immediately. Even the most messy design looks beautiful and makes kids proud. The toy was a hit on playdates.

.....They'll probably *love* these! :) My daugher, who is 2 yrs. old, really enjoys playing with them. This set comes with 'flash' cards with pictures on them that your child can try to duplicate. Many different patterns. They're fun and easy for little hands to snap together. :)

We received " the snappers" as a present for my son's second birthday, and it turned out to be quite a nice surprise. He is able to play with colorful tiles for at least half an hour without our assistance, the details are easy to lock and unlock. The set is 80 pieces, so it allows to create any patterns, and also may be used for counting and learning colors. Highly recommend!
