 Best night light ever July 25, 2007

I have a 4 and a 2 yr old. We received this as a gift. This by far is their favorite animal to sleep with, whenever they get scared in the middle of the night they give the monkeys a hug for the light. I'm thinking about getting a couple for backup in case we loose one on vacation.

It is very cute and makes a great night light for a little one to snuggle up to at night. It turns its self off after a while, the little one can fall asleep and it won't be on all night.

Who wouldn't think this monkey is cute?! It glows nicely (not too bright) and shuts itself off after 15 minutes which is good for my daughter who likes a little night light while falling asleep.

My four year old is absolutely enthralled with this toy, as is his 4 month old sister. I bought the wand for the monkey, which I think is the cutest of the GLO E toys, and my kid spends a huge amount of time changing the colors of the monkey from across the room. If you can get this toy for around $15.00, I'd highly recommend it.
The monkey is really soft, but beware of getting the monkey's hair caught in the velcro (where the toy opens to house the electrical innards.) Once the hair gets caught, the velcro doesn't want to work very well.

Great stuffed monkey. The light show is awesome, wish the electronic component was smaller. Makes the monkey a little less soft and cuddly, but still a great purchase.
