Product Description A miniature, people-friendly robot that moves with human-like action.- Fully detailed– looks just like the 14" original, but only half the size
- Real walking action and cool, light-up eyes
- Fully posable arms with gripper hands that can really hold on to objects
- Use the "control panel" on robot's back to raise and lower his arms, operate his hands, and make him walk
- The perfect size to play with anytime, anywhere
Spring-loaded hands can hold small objects and carry them as the robot walks. A great first robot and a fun, portable toy.
Editorial Review Designed by a robotics physicist who worked at NASA, the hulking Robosapien looks like a Star Wars stormtrooper on steroids, with a stark black and white body and massive shoulders and feet. However, this Mini version is truly a baby compared to the regular Robosapien (B000161RFA), with much more limited functionality. Flip a switch on its back, and the Mini marches forward, assisted by little wheels on its feet. Levers behind the shoulders flip the arms outward, while buttons on the forearms open the robot's claw-like hands, enabling it to pick up things. The Mini Robosapien is very solidly constructed, though its mobility seems somewhat limited. Two AAA batteries are required. --Andy Boynton

boring! September 11, 2005 13 out of 36 found this review helpful
This is the most boring, stupidest, piece of crud i have ever seen. If you are smart, never, ever, even think about buying this toy. Only an idiot would go ahead and buy it after i told you this. It is a huge dissapointment, I used two weeks of allowence to buy this, and when I took him out of the box and put batteries in, I almost cried.
A HUGE Disapointment!!!!! September 5, 2005 17 out of 24 found this review helpful
This toy is a BIG disapointment. After I put the batteries in it, I was really excited to turn it on and see what it could do, but when I turned it on, all it did was walk nonstop. I am not kidding, but i wish I was. YOU have to press and hold a button to make it pick things up and you have to move this thing up and down to make its arms move up and down. That is all it does. If I were you, I would wait until the mini robosapien v2 and the regular robosapien v2 come out. I am not sure what the mini v2 does, but I know that the regular v2 is going to be AWESOME!!!! So I would either wait til' the v2 comes out, wait til' robopet comes out, or get the regular roboraptor. If you want to see what roboraptor does, I'd go to Best Buy. They have one out of the box that you can mess around with. All this is just my opinion, but if you want to get it, I would suggest you keep the box neat so you can put it back in if you want to return it. That's what I did.
Cool toy!!! August 30, 2005 9 out of 14 found this review helpful
