3 out of 5 stars Bozo the Bop Bag - not bad, not great   November 13, 2008

It's good looking, nostalgic for me, healthy for my 4 1/2 year old to channel some excess energy and occasional anger.
There are problems though. I am too often blowing it up as it leaks air. It is not as balanced as it should be so it often does not pop back up

Overall, a pleasant toy for $20

4 out of 5 stars Fun for everyone!   October 25, 2008

I'll be honest: I did not intend to use this product the way it was meant to be used. As a college student currently in Psychology, I purchased this product as a means to re-enact Albert Bandura's famous Bobo doll and aggression experiment. The product is a lot of fun and I use it to scare people who suffer from a phobia of clowns. The seller was very kind and helpful, as was the manufacturer. The product itself is not incredibly durable but as long as you aren't planning to really kick it around, it should be fine.

Overall, not a purchase I regret!

5 out of 5 stars Great for my 2-year-old   October 23, 2008
mom of one (Beaverton, OR United States)
I bought this for my son's birthday and he loves it. I also got him the Bozo Boppers (inflatable boxing gloves) to go with it. He looks so cute wearing the Boppers and punching the bag. Sometimes it doesn't pop back up like it is supposed to, but he will just walk over and put it back up. It usually happens because the sand bag isn't centered in the bottom of the bop bag, so I have to fix it for him to keep it from happening over and over. We haven't had any problems with holes or tears. It arrived in great shape.

I purchased it from Toy Wiz and it arrived 2 days later than their expected delivery range. I tried contacting them and I never heard back (it's been about 2 months now). I would not recommend purchasing from this seller.

5 out of 5 stars Pleased as "punch"   September 11, 2008

I leave all the electronic games to the parents. My grandchildren, ages 5 and 8 love to exercise with Bozo. They release lots of energy in a small space in my apartment. Just another "good old toy" that sure "hits" the spot!

3 out of 5 stars Pretty fun toy..   July 30, 2008

I just received this toy and inflated it about an hour ago, so I can't attest to it's durability yet. It does appear to be sturdy though. My 3 yr old son is having fun playing with it, but there is one thing that is bugging me. I don't have much experience with bop bags so maybe this is normal??? But almost everytime he hits it, it lays on the ground and I have to pick it back up. Seems like it doesn't have enough sand in it or something. I thought it bounced back nearly every time. So that is disappointing, but otherwise it seems okay.
