Product Description Set sail for adventure with a gang of pirates on the high seas. My Pirate Ship makes seaworthy sounds and comes with three pirates, a monkey, a parrot, a mermaid and other accessories. Ship measures 20"L x 8"W x 14"H. Includes 3 "AA" batteries.
Editorial Review Although we suspect that real pirates were never actually this benign when they menacingly patrolled the high seas, looking for booty to loot, the lack of realism is completely forgivable since these pirates look like a lot of fun. The included eye-patched captain and happy crewmember carry no guns, choosing instead to cavort on the high seas with a parrot, a monkey, and a mermaid. Only the large cannon connotes any hint of menace although were certain they only use it for celebratory purposes. Pirate music and ocean sounds, played at the touch of a button, add to the fun. There are 12 blocks in all and they are all compatible with other Mega Bloks sets, creating plenty of possibilities for creative play even outside the narrow bounds of the buccaneers life. --Charlie Williams

Good, but not pictured January 11, 2007 Mother of Two (Illinois) I bought this for my son for Christmas. However, what was shipped was not the ship that was pictured. We received the version without the monkey. I ordered it online because of the monkey. Other than that, I could have bought the version we received at Toys R Us. A little disappointing.
Aargh! Here Be An Excellent Toy! March 15, 2006 W. Frost (Rancho Cucamonga) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a Christmas gift for my 15 month old son. It is one of his favorite toys and he plays with it daily - which is a big deal at his age if something can catch his attention so often. As he develops, he play with the ship in different ways. It really grows along with him.
Set sail for many pirate adventures January 16, 2006 A. Bernard 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We purchased this pirate ship for our 18 month son. He very much enjoys it and it encourages him to pretend play. The pieces are a good size for his age group and the toy is nicely constructed. I would recommend this as a good toy for a toddler. My toddler and his 4-year-old brother are also able to play well with this toy together.
A great, unique toy! November 15, 2005 Auburn K. Daily (Washington, DC) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I took this to my best friend's little girl who will be 2 in February and has recently developed a pirate obsession. She loves this toy! The sound effects are great and all the pieces are movable/removable so she can do lots with them, plus the whole ship moves around on wheels. Definitely a fun toy, and not your average plastic boat!
My child's favorite toy November 13, 2005 Nicole Petersen (Pleasant Grove, UT USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My 1 1/2 year old son loves this toy! He spends a lot of time taking it apart and putting it back together. When we need something to occupy him, we get this toy out! It has been excellent!
