My daugher loves to sing so I bought her this toy. I was very diappointed since it broke right away. She then started using the cord to wrap around things (including herself) so I had to take it away from her. Next time I would buy a cordless one.

We brought this for our dd for Christmas 2007. While she LOVED the idea, the stand fell apart within the first hour and even though she was willing to use it broken, the speaker part also broke within the first week. She is 10 and she wasn't rough with it at all so really be weary for younger kids. Needless to say, we returned it and will replace it a more durable one.

I bought this microphone out of desperation and without having any reviews to aid in my decision. I am pleasantly surprised and relieved that it works. You have to have the microphone very very close to your mouth but it does amplify fairly well. I had to remove a cap piece from the stand in order to get the sections to fit together. I'm not sure if that was necessary but I couldn't get it together any other way and the directions were picture only. Regardless of the minor alteration it looks like the box and works as advertised. The stand is sturdy and adjustable. Great price for the microphone as well. Both my 7 and 3 year old boys love it!
