Product Description What's black and white and cool all over? I-CY, the performing penguin! This funky penguin loves to dive into music: rock, punk, rap, hip-hop, dance, techno, and more. Watch I-CY flap its flippers to your tunes, and make it happy with lots of music and interaction! I-CY communicates moods through musical riffs, movement and tons of blinking light patterns! It even squawks to let you know when it needs more attention! I-CY loves to move and groove to your music, but watch out - flick its tail, and it won't be happy! Plug in and chill out with I-CY!

Fun iPod accessory November 9, 2008 Margaret Z. Paine (Austin, TX, USA) The toy's response to music was fun to watch, although slow songs didn't prompt much response. This toy was smaller than I expected, but the child who received it was very pleased.
Easy cleanup May 23, 2008 eloping_is_cool (Kentucky) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this for my daughter because she's allergic to cats. Well, she's not really, but I can't stand all the hair in our house. Anyway, I thought this was a nice substitute pet, and perhaps can give her more affection than her emotionally distant father can.
I-CY is adorable May 17, 2008 Thomas And Tracey Zielinski (Waynesville, Mo. USA) I have a lot of fun with I-CY, I call mine flipper. He dances and does a lot of things, mine also does what it says it will do. Dances and blinks to music. I keep him on my desk as well, he's a very good pet. If the batteries are low or not very good quality, he will slow down.
NOT a speaker April 25, 2008 College Kid (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this little guy - but he's just NOT a speaker. The 'speaker' part of him is the size of a quarter - the sound quality and quantity is seriously lacking. What sound he DOES produce is drowned out by the sound of his wings flapping. He reacts like crazy to the music, but YOU can hardly hear it. He is not a speaker. It's just like somebody turned up their headphones and put them down on the desk and called them a speaker. HOWEVER he is a good TOY. For your desk, more than for your iPod. He has a good microphone on the top of his head to listen to music and if you sit him on your desk and play music through real speakers he is supercute - dancing and warbling along, scolding you when the music stops and playing his own musical riffs when you push his nose. I really like him - as a desktop pet or tamagotchi-like game. But they're wrong to label him a speaker. Someone looking for a speaker would be disappointed by his performance.
Fun way to hear your downloads March 25, 2008 Splurge on a Budget (Michigan) When I bought an MP3 player for my son I was looking for a speaker so he could listen to his music in his room. I was happy to find the I-CY because he is all about being a boy and his sister already had the I-Dog so I jumped on this option. I like the I-CY better than the dog, it flaps it wings and lights up to the music. My son played with that with our MP3 player before he ever got around to asking us to download songs on his player. BIG HIT!
