This is a great hat. It is a little large for a child of 6, and it may have stretched a bit too. My son loves it. He wears it to school almost every day. How many first graders wear a fedora to school. I like that he wears it to school because, like any hat, it helps keep his head warm during the cooler weather and makes it worth the price. He is the envy of all his friends. It is well made but must be treated with some care or, like any good hat would be ruined. Because he love it he is careful with it, but it survives falling on the ground too! The rest of the costume can be made from clothes a child already has or clothes that, if bought, can be used for other things. What makes a child Indy is a good hat. THIS HAT IS IT!

Felt construction; good quality for the price. My son (age 5) finds it mostly authentic and he has advidly studied exactly where the bumps and creases are on IJ's hat.

My 5 year old loves this hat. He can't stop playing Indy and this is the best accessory to do it. Quality material and a special official "Indiana Jones" emblem on it too. Its a nice size that will fit for a while also. Nice product overall!
