Editorial Review
"Ready for take-off…here we go!" Diminutive pilots in training can let their imagination take flight with this stocky, swooshy, wiggly-wobbly airplane. Measuring 12 inches nose to tail, and 8 inches from wingtip to wingtip, this sturdy plastic plane features a pilot, two passengers, a piece of luggage, a door that opens, six windows, including the pilot's windshield, a handle over the cut-out top, working wheels (which make the pilot and passengers go up and down as if encountering turbulence), and the obligatory face on the front of the craft. Push down on the pilot in her seat (yes, her seat…we are in the 21st century, you know!) for flashing lights, a tune, flight attendant commentary, and swooshing airplane sounds. Judging from the outfits of the passengers and the palm tree design on the wings, this aircraft seems to be headed for a tropical port--airport, that is. What's not to love? Check out the entire line of Lil' Movers vehicles. Three AA batteries required (not included). (Ages 18 months to 3 years) --Emilie Coulter

4 out of 5 stars Subtle messages?   October 28, 2008

We bought this airplane for our little girl after she began to spot every airplane in the sky no matter how far away it was. She enjoys flying it around and will dance to the music it plays. But after looking at it for a while, I realized there are NO male characters as part of this toy. I have no problem with a female pilot, but NO male characters? seems a little odd. And we didn't buy the pink airplane. The little people are also quite butch in appearance. Just interesting to notice the subliminal messages in our kids toys. Kind of like the number 69 i saw on the picture of the firetruck on our baby einstein exersaucer. very unnecessary.

5 out of 5 stars Another great toy for "Little People"   October 27, 2008
Ainsley's Mommy (Ohio)
We have owned this plane for almost a year now and my daughter, who is 2 1/2, has played with it A LOT! She used to just push it along on the floor, but now she makes it 'fly', loads the people and luggage in and out and acts out little conversations between the passengers. Really cute and totally worth the $$,

5 out of 5 stars Great gift   October 14, 2008
Maggie Mae (Orange, CA)
I'm a grandmother and purchased this toy last Christmas for baby just few months old. As he has grown over the year, my daughter has told me that this is my grandson's favorite toy. And this last October when he turned one, his other grandmother intentionally purchased same toy so that he can have his favorite toy when they visit her often in Oregon.

4 out of 5 stars If you love the school bus, you'll love the plane!!!   August 1, 2008

My son received the Fisher Price School Bus for his first birthday and LOVED it, so I figured he would love this airplane as well. He enjoys swapping out the little people and opening and closing the doors. A fun toy, cute sound effects and song.

The only downside to the airplane compared to the school bus is that the opening is a smaller than the bus. For little hands, it's not a problem, but when you have all the airplane seats filled, it can be a little tight...

4 out of 5 stars Fun for babies   July 3, 2008
Amanda J. King (S. Korea)
I got this for my son right before his 2nd birthday because he LOVES planes. I wish I had gotten this for him earlier. I feel like he would've enjoyed it more a year earlier. It's a great, durable product that we've come to expect from Little People. Fun music, songs. (Love the female pilot!).
