5 out of 5 stars Very nice and friendly game/toy   November 28, 2008
Ammar (Brooklyn, NY, USA)
I have bought this toy for my 5 years old nephew because he wanted it. At first, I thought it's just like the other boring games that you plug-in in the tv but I was wrong. First, the companion CD is really straightforward and easy to install. The software that came with CD is easy to navigate throught even for a 5 years old. The game itself, is really challenging and you have lots of fun. I would recommend it even for adults.

5 out of 5 stars I love this game.   November 3, 2008

My 6 year old son bought this game. He has really enjoyed playing it. Here is what he thinks of the game in his own words.

This game is awesome. There are eight different cars. They all have there own short-cuts for each race.

The Shark Cruiser can go thru an under water short cut in the Island race. The Invader can go thru snow in the Artic race. The Arachamna Rod can drive on spider webs in the Jungle race. The Jet Threat 4.0 can fly thru its short cuts on the Sky race. The RD04 can surf over lava in the Volcano race. The Drift King can jump over a building for its short-cut in the Urban Street race. The Dune Buggy can go on sand track cars can't go on in the Desert race. The Nascar has no short-cuts.

Go and buy it. You will really like it.

3 out of 5 stars Limited Fun   October 24, 2008

This looked like an interesting toy. I thought this would be a good intro to video games for a 6 yr old who is an absolute Hot Wheels nut. After playing a few times on it, he started to lose interest. He found the car more interesting than the video action.

4 out of 5 stars My 7yr old nephew loves this   October 23, 2008
S. Reagan (Maryland)
I gave this to my 7 year old nephew for his birthday. He loves Hot Wheels but was starting to slightly outgrow them. This was a great way to reel him back in. The instructions are lacking and the controller takes some getting used to for small kids hands. But with determination comes a lot of fun and my sister tells me he begs to play it everyday. He has had it for a few weeks now and there hasn't been any problem at all. Hopefully with more cars this will last a long time. I recommend this for girls and boys ages 6-9 years old.

3 out of 5 stars Fun for a short period of time   October 20, 2008

This was a fun for the kids fora short period of time. Unless you purchase all the add on cars it was impossible for them to win.

Would be better if all the add on cars could be purchased with the set.
