5 out of 5 stars great bath toy   July 25, 2008

this toy is so much bigger (and better) than it looks in the picture. I was looking to update my 4yo's bath toys. I found this while searching for spiderman toys, and bought it because the description indicates it can be used in the water.

For some reason, the picture made it seem smaller to me (could also be because the price was so reasonable). The item that arrived was a pleasent surprise. The boat is probably around 10 inches long (I'll measure and update later). And the figures are probably about 4 inches tall. Figures have moveable limbs. Boat has a working rope for pulling swimmers to safety. Also has a squirting fire hose.

this toy is surprisingly durable for the price and I am so happy that I made the purchase. I would definitely recommend for kids 3+.

No really small pieces, but there is a rope with a plastic hook on the end that could be a choking hazard - so watch out around little ones.

2 out of 5 stars Spiderman adventure set   July 24, 2008

The picture on the box gave me the impression that this toy did more than just float. My grandson enjoys playing with it in the bathtub, but prefers to remove the spiderman and hulk figures and play separately with them. This toy is overpriced for what it is and does.
