Amazon.com Product Description The Crayola Color Wonder Sprayer enables kids to create dazzling airbrush artwork without the mess and cleanup. The sprayer's paint is clear and won't stain clothes or skin, but it instantly changes to vivid color when sprayed onto the special Color Wonder paper that is included with the set. Kids will have a blast creating colorful airbrush masterpieces, and parents will be equally satisfied in knowing that the toy is completely mess-free.
The Wonder Sprayer comes complete with a variety of stencils and coloring book pages. View larger. | Magical Paper The secret behind the paint's mysterious change to color is the Color Wonder paper, which is included with the kit in a 12-page tablet. The tablet contains nine blank pages and three pre-printed coloring book images, and will be sure to provide kids with hours of coloring fun. The sprayer also comes with a 3-D pop-up figure of a dragon, constructed completely of Color Wonder paper and ready for your child to color. Coloring with Color Wonder The four included color cartridges -- orange, cyan, green, and fuchsia -- give kids a versatile palette to work with. They'll also appreciate that the sprayer draws a fairly thin line of paint, which they can use for both fine drawing and broader spraying. If they make a mistake, the kit's color-effacing crayon will remove it. Two Color Wonder markers have been included as well, useful for when the artist needs to draw an outline. The sprayer also comes with three full-size Create-A-Scene stencils, with undersea, outer space, and castle images sure to captivate children. In addition to providing loads of fun, these stencils will help spark kids' imagination and give them ideas for future projects. This toy is recommended for children ages 5 and up, and requires four C batteries (not included.) About Crayola Crayola first began developing its world-famous crayons in 1903, with eight original colors. The company is now the world's most popular manufacturer of children's art supplies and it produces more than 120 different crayon colors. Crayola recently celebrated its 100th anniversary and continues to innovate in the field of children's art. What's in the Box Color Wonder Sprayer unit, 4 color cartridges (orange, cyan, green, and fuchsia), playmat, 2 Color Wonder broadline markers, 12-page Color Wonder paper tablet, 3 full-size Create-A-Scene stencils, 1 Color Wonder pop-up 3-D dragon figure, and 1 Color Wonder magic-reveal white crayon.

Didn't Work & Ruined my Coffee Table!! November 20, 2008 Emmy's mom (Illinois) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughter received this as a birthday gift and was so excited to start playing with it. To her disappointment the sprayer didn't work at all, it just made a loud obnoxious buzzing noise. We tried again and again to get it to work - the only thing that happened was the ink leaked all over the table and actually REMOVED the VARNISH from my coffee table! This is a horrible piece of junk, but a great way to refinish furniture! The only redeeming thing about it was that she was able to use the stencils that were included in the box.
pleased September 16, 2008 E. Grimes great product! not messy! but if you have 2 or more children just hope they know patience and sharing.
Terrible Product August 28, 2008 N. Chambers (Garfield Heights, OH United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
We purchased this product for our son. He was excited when he opened the package but disappointed quickly because it just doesn't work. Once you get all of the batteries in, you pop in the color tube and start spraying. Nothing comes out! We can get ink out of the color tube on our own but once you put it into the sprayer, it doesn't blow out. We tried to get it to work over and over again with no success. It is also loud and annoying when it is turned on. We threw it away about 1 month after purchasing it because the store wouldn't accept the return. I wouldn't recommend buying this product.
When addapted, this is a fun multipurpose item! October 4, 2007 D. Hatch (SLC, Utah) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Okay, so I bought this and didn't realize that it only worked on 'special paper' (it was my first color-wonder purchase). Color wonder does have its ups and downs, but I am to cheap to keep buying refills. So, I popped open the tubes and put my own dye in the vials/tubes! I have definitely have to 100% supervise my 6 and 4 year olds when using this--we use it outside on huge butcher paper pieces. But it is a lot cheaper to refill and no worries on how much ink they use. Heck, I have even used this sprayer to paint a tye-die looking birthday cake! ( I used the edible dye, found in the cake decorating isle) I am sure Color wonder doesn't want you to do this and doesn't condone it, either. But, hey it is way fun to mix my own colors and I'm happy knowing I don't have to keep buying over-priced color-wonder dye.
Horrible, simply horrible January 20, 2007 Brian (Crown Point, IN United States) 7 out of 12 found this review helpful
My son got this thing for Christmas. What a waste of plastic and money. The capabilities of the thing do NOT match what the box shows, and while you might think it works like a spray brush, it does not. You have to use THEIR sheets to activate the solution it sprays. It doesn't even spray ink, its some kind of glorp that smells bad. Additionally, it says "mess free", bull pucky -- you have to spray so much to get any real color you make a mess just buy the mass amounts of the glorp you are spraying. I was very let down by Crayola on this product. We have the cutting toy, and it works fine, but this thing is just crap in a box. The proprietary paper, light colors, pre-defined pictures and general weakness of the strength of the colors made me chuck it in the garbage, where it belongs.
