well made but of little interest to two years olds November 11, 2008 S. Pettingill I generally love Step2 products, but not this one for the age group suggested as appropriate. The teeter totter is well-made and very attractive, but I think it would be better for older children. It did not hold the interest of my two year old twins. The rocking motion on grass is not that great, so they need to be old enough to move it better or use it on a hard surface. I think that they would be better served to make a longer/larger product that rocks better and label it for older kids.
funmom October 1, 2008 N. TUCCILLO this was a nice somewhat safe teetertootter and good price. My kids are 2, and 3 and i expect them to enjoy it for at least several more years.
Fun Toy! September 30, 2008 K. Sisson (Tustin, CA United States) I bought this toy for my two daughters, ages 2 and 4-1/2. They really like riding on it, although my older daughter isn't quite as interested in it. I really like that it's a natural color and it blends in with our backyard. It's also got a cool design and is very sturdy (sometimes I "sit" on one side while my younger daughter is on the other side and it holds me fine). The other thing I like about this toy is it can be used by one, two or three kids at a time so it's very versatile. I definitely recommend it!
Naturally Playfull Teeter Totter July 12, 2008 Nana Deb (St. Paul, MN USA) Naturally Playful Teeter Totter This teeter totter seems to be very sturdy and the only assembly is to push the handles into place. Simple, except that it requires a lot of strength to do this and I was unable to accomplish the assembly on my own.
fun for the kids June 16, 2008 Dana Well the other step 2 products have shown great durability for us but this one let us down. We have had this product for 3 years now and after the first year the teeter totter cracked in the middle. Its still usable but i may end up trashing it this year. It is very cute and my children did love this toy.. Maybe a little too much? hehe.. I would definitely purchase it again if i had to. Its such a great activity for the kids.
