Product Description There's a mystery person on your opponent's card. Can you find the matching face in the crowd' Start with a gameboard full of silly-looking characters, then ask the right questions to eliminate the wrong faces! If you're first to discover your opponent's mystery person, you win! For 2 players. Contents: two plastic gameboard trays, 24 mystery cards, 48 face cards and face frames, two score keepers, eight rubber feet and instructions in English and Spanish. Assembly required. Colors and product may vary.
Editorial Review A wonderful blend of deduction with a form of 20 Questions. Two players try to deduce the identity of their opponent's "Mystery Person." Using game boards with 48 frames apiece and an equal number of cards displaying character faces, players ask one another yes or no questions that help narrow the pool of possibilities. Through process of elimination, the identity of the Mystery Person slowly becomes evident. As kids' skill levels grow, their questions become more strategic, allowing them to solve the mystery faster and faster. The faces on the cards are cheerful and clever and designed to give subgroups among the 48 characters just enough similarities to challenge players. --Tom Keogh

Fun Game! July 22, 2008 Shirley Priscilla Johnson (USA) We bought this game for my granddaughter's birthday. It's a type of 20 questions game as you ask the other player different questions so you may figure out who his player is. Example: If your player a man or woman? Does he (she) have blonde hair? You travel along until you are ready to make a guess. We enjoyed playing this. The characters are colorful with some zany faces and hairdo's. There is one problem however. This game takes a little bit to put together and the cards with the faces on them do not stay well in the plactic holders. We had to stop after each set and fix the cards before we could go on. I think a little improvement in that area would make this game top-notch. Bottom line, it was fun and we did enjoy it.
Great classic game - new version is poorly constructed June 30, 2008 Ulyyf (NYC) This is a great game. I remember playing it as a kid with another child who spoke French. Lots of fun, easy to play, not determined by chance, teaches children how to group into categories and narrow down choices - wonderful. Unfortunately, the new edition is very shoddily designed. The cards are flimsy, and they fall right out of their holders when they're flipped (or sometimes when they're *not* flipped). Ultimately, the game is almost totally unplayable! This is very disappointing to all of us. I'm going to go see if I can find a vintage copy of this game, and I'll be contacting the manufacturer about this as well... though if I have an experience similar to that of a previous poster, I'll probably get brushed off.
One of the few games that holds their interest for years. June 1, 2008 T Rose (New York) This is a great game. It's easy for younger kids to play and the rounds are quick. Assembly is a bit of a pain and after time some of the cards start to fall out. We actually just use one of the flip boards now and pass it back and forth to whoever is guessing. Well worth the money.
Guess who - one of the best games ever! May 27, 2008 brwneyedgrl (Chicago, IL) I love this game and played it all through childhood and recently bought it for some laughes. It isn't durable and really isn't meant for kids who cannot identify detail - but once they can, this is a great game!
Fun learning game, with flaws.... May 21, 2008 J. Johnson (TX, USA) I bought this for my 4-year old daughter and it is one of the few little kid games that I really enjoy playing. This game requires her to observe the cards she has and form logical questions to determine which card I have. I really see the wheels turning in her head as we play and she can honestly beat me at times! Having said that, the game also has flaws with it's design. We opened it up the day it arrived all excited to play and it took us well over 30 minutes to set up the board (and there wasn't a whole lot a 4 year old could do to help...). Every time we get it out to play we have to spend time replacing face cards that have fallen out of their slots and sticking a few of the plastic card slots back in place. I don't see this game lasting for years... bummer because it really is a fun game for us. Buy it on sale!
