Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
These soapy finger paints are sure to make bathtime fun as kids create sudsy works of art on their body or the bathtub. Includes 5 colors of soapy finger paint, a fish-shaped sponge for clean up and a hand-shaped palette to hold the paints. Safe, clean and fun for kids.

Editorial Review
Most painters have to clean up after they're done, but with this set of five bright finger-paint soaps, you can paint and get clean at the same time. Squeeze a dab of each color into the enclosed hand-shaped artist's palette and you're all set to turn your tub into an impressionistic masterpiece. When it's towel time, wipe the pigment away using the included fish-shaped sponge. Don't forget to wear a beret in the tub for the right effect. Paints are orange, blue, yellow, green, and purple. They are not heavily scented, and the pigments are child friendly. --Richard Farr

3 out of 5 stars Nice Birthday Gift   October 22, 2007
Colleen Fischvogt (North Carolina)
I purchased this a a gift with some clothes for my 2 year old niece. The kids loved it but it was really a one or two use item (although 3 kids were playing with it in the tub). They enjoyed mixing colors and painting themselves. It is a fun little gift for the price-I wouldn't buy the more expensive version.

1 out of 5 stars They call these paints?   November 12, 2006

These "paints" do not adhere to either the tub, their fingers or their bodies, so I was very disappointed as were the kids as they tried to paint pictures on the tub wall. While I understand that a bathtub paint product needs to come off easily and not stain or otherwise damage the tub and surrounding tile, I would've expected that this delivered a little more in the way of at least being able to create something before it slid off into the bath water. I've been disappointed with every product I've purchased from Alex, and this is no exception. Overpriced.

1 out of 5 stars the paints don't paint   April 1, 2006

These paints are more soap than paint. When your fingers are wet the paints slide right off them, so it's extremely difficult to a: get them on your fingers to begin with and b: apply them to any surface at all. They have barely any pigment and don't stick to the side of the tub. Don't waste your money.

4 out of 5 stars My daughter's favorite in the bath   March 9, 2006
Happy Mom (Carpinteria, CA United States)

I bought this for my 2+ year old daughter and it has been her favorite bath toy. When the paints ran out we used the plastic hand as a palette for fingerpaints or to hold other crafty things. We tried other bath paints that were less expensive but the texture and color choices were significantly inferior.

1 out of 5 stars No fun for Tubby time   January 16, 2006

This product is nothing more than colored soap that does not adhere well to tile or tub. My two year old son loved this stuff for about 30 seconds. Do not buy this!
