4 out of 5 stars A lot of fun   August 17, 2008
Maia's gran (Allentown, PA USA)
bought this makeup set for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday. She absolutely loves it. We have to put nail polish and make up on all day long. What's great about it is that there is no liquid at all, it is all make belief, so there is no risk of spilling anything. Even the hair dryer just makes a noise with the batteries in it, no air.
The eyemakup container lid has broken off, but we kinda manage with it.

Would definitely recommend the toy, gives hours of busy time, with the "mani-q" set.

5 out of 5 stars Lots of fun for little princesses!   May 12, 2008

My 3 year-old twins love this set. They love to "dry" people's hair. They had no clue what the curling iron is because the three of us have naturally curly hair! The makeup is great because it is just pretend and is all the fun with none of the mess.

4 out of 5 stars Terrific pretend makeup and hair set   April 14, 2008

My daughter (4) loves this set. I appreciate that everything is fake, i.e. no real nail polish, eye makeup, lipstick, to spill, stain, etc. The one missing link is something in which to store all the pieces, as there are many. We got a big purse, and that worked well, but an improvement to this set would be a carrying case.

4 out of 5 stars Daughter loves it!   February 15, 2008

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas 2007. She was just over 2 years old at the time. She really likes this set and plays with it almost everyday. The working hair dryer is really cute and all the nail polish tops actually come off so she can pretend she is really painting toes. The makeup is realistic but not real(as stated in some other reviews). It would have been nicer if it had a carrying case with it but we just purchased a clear storage container with a lid and handle and now it is her "beauty kit" that we put some other "beauty" items in with this set. Good value for this set. Yes I would recommend. Small pieces require you to be careful if you have younger ones.

I purchased this for my 3 yr old granddaughter to go with a vanity she has. Her favorite is the blow dryer that actually works and sounds like Mommy's blow dryer. I was dissappointed that the brushes are just hard plastic, but overall was pleased with the product.
