Weazel ball July 30, 2008 Ann M. Petrosky My cats loved this toy! It works better on tile floors, but makes alot of noise. I use it on the carpet where it is almost silent, and the cats love to stalk it! Just be sure to keep a fresh battery in or it has a tougher time rolling.
Can scuff white baseboards July 27, 2008 Bad Toaster 77 My hyper pug loves this toy. It gets her really excited and keeps her busy. Two problems, though: -because it's hard plastic, it can hit the wall with alot of force. This can cause the black rubbery strip around the middle to scuff white baseboards. -it does tend to get hung up on corners. It will sit there and vibrate for a while, then finally move on along the wall. It gets really loud sometimes when it gets stuck. Not a quiet toy.
Cats love to watch and follow this around, but I think I enjoy it more than them! July 22, 2008 K. Andrews I saw this at Cracker Barrel and couldn't resist buying it. My older cat, who is fifteen hasn't shown interest in toys or food until we adopted a younger two year old cat. Now they compete for food, toys, catnip, and attention, which I think is helping to keep the older cat active. When I saw this I knew it would be an instant hit. At first I let turned it on and let the weasel roll around the floor with the ball. The weasel had both cats full attention. They watched it with great interest for a good thirty minutes. Afterwards I turned it off and let them examine it at their own leisure. I found the younger cat sleeping with the toy so I know she loves it. Every so often we turn it on just to see the cats reactions, but they haven't yet decided to wrestle it when it's on, but they'll let it get close now. The only complaint I have is that you have to unscrew the ball to turn it off and that the weasel is only attached with a clothing hang tag which I imagine could easily come off. It's also fairly noisy. The weasel is really cute.
kitten entertainment system July 19, 2008 tea i bought this product for my cat since he attacks anything that moves...as long as i turn the toy on he's always watching it...but sometimes the toy hits a corner and just keeps banging into it or it gets stuck on the weasel attached to it and takes about a minute to roll in another direction.
Great puppy toy! July 18, 2008 Barbara Hinkley (Grayland WA) My brother's mini dashound played with the weazelball until his tongue hung out and he fell asleep under the table from fatigue. We all laughed until it hurt watching him. BH
