Amazon.com Product Description Inspire your young Picasso with the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel. This easel will fuel your child's imaginative side and gives them the freedom to create with an extra-large chalkboard, dry-erase board, and easy-load paper roller. Your budding artist will be inspired by free-form expression and spend hours drawing, painting, sketching, and doodling. It is also an excellent educational item and children love playing school with the chalkboard side. This work station is ideal for kids ages four through 10 and has an adjustable height to accommodate the little ones as they grow. A Great Alternative to Professional Easels Just like a professional easel, this work station is generously sized so that children can complete projects both big and small. Its durable wood construction ensures that it won't tip and it folds up easily for convenient storage. The easel also has a sturdy paint tray with cup holders for easy use and clean-up, and another tool tray that holds erasers, chalks, and clips. Four large, colorful clips are included with this easel. Paper rolls can be loaded effortlessly into the holder and a paper cutting edge at the top delivers clean cuts and leaves your artist's work whole. Parents may have to assist removing and loading the paper, as it can be difficult for kids to do on their own. (The paper rolls and paint cups are not included.) A standing easel is essential for any young artist. This large easel has a chalkboard, dry erase board, and paper roller to let the children express themselves with different mediums. It also has an adjustable height that grows with the creator and delivers years of use. The brightly colored tool containers are capacious enough to hold lots of different items and are simple for tiny fingers to utilize. This toy will unleash the little artist inside every child and could spark a lifelong interest in fine art. What's in the Box Easel, paint tray, chalk tray, 4 colorful clips, and paper roller.

Great Product! Highly Recommended! November 26, 2008 Maegan G. Proehl (Chicago, IL USA) We bought this easel for my daughters (age 6 & 7) last Christmas. As I am starting my Christmas shopping this year and really looking over reviews before I make my purchases, I realized that I should give feedback on some of the things we purchased last year. This easel is very versatile: chalkboard, dry erase board and paper allow for all kinds of artistic expression! Some of the features I appreciate: adjustable legs, paper roll in between the easel boards, shelves for paint, dry erase markers and chalk. We purchased the paint and chalk supplies as well, and I really like the paint dispensers. Even my 2 year old son likes the easel. It's well balanced too, we have never had it collapse (like another cheaper brand that was purchased for my nephew did). Great product for the price!!
Great option to mindless toys November 25, 2008 Spacely (Linwood, NJ United States) My 3-year old loves this easel. We do chalk, crayons and his favorite, dry erase markers. I'm saving the paint until he's a little older. Which is nice because the easel is adjustable to grow with him. It really encourages him to write and draw. He's very proud to emulate what he's learned in pre-school. We also play together, kind of a pictionary, "what's this?" game for a 3-year old. His older friends also use it when they come over to play with him. It's built very well, sturdy, but not to heavy too move around.
Great educational tool November 17, 2008 C. Gaffar (USA) This is a great educational tool for children who are not writing well on paper yet. My three year old picked a piece of chalk and started writing her name and now even does well with paper. Also great for older painters.
Works for my 5 year old November 13, 2008 G. Peterson (Lehi, UT United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Art Easel? What Easel? Oh yeah... the one that has become such a constant fixture in my kitchen that it seems to be part of the decor. I got this for my daughters 5th b-day. She loves it! Some people have said the chalkboard is crappy and that may be true, but she never uses that side. I loved that it was adjustable. It does take removing hardware to adjust, but we don't have to do it often. I purchased the accessory kit (which I highly recommend) with the paints and extra paper. The paints are bright and thick, the color coded brushes are great and I supplemented the brushes with some smaller ones for finer detail. (the brushes it comes with paint thick lines). Clean up is very easy. Some paint spilled on the wood floor and everything cleans up wonderfully with simple water. The paper roll lasts a LONG time. I'm happy with the investment.
Great product! November 12, 2008 ky'smom (Macon, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this product for my 5 yr old daughter and she loves it. She enjoys drawing, painting and writing and this was the perfect gift for her. It was pretty easy to put together. I advise you purchase the deluxe accessory kit along with it. My only grip would be that it is really inconvenient to store so we usually leave it up in our kitchen so that my daughter can play with it whenever she wants. Overall it is a great buy and well worth the price.
