4 out of 5 stars Not as pictured, which is a good thing   October 14, 2008
Evan (Tulsa, OK)
I purchased this so that I could try blowing fog bubbles using a fog machine I already purchased. It actually works a lot better than I expected and produces a ton more bubbles than I was expecting. I did NOT recieve the product pictured. I either received a newer or older model, I am not sure, but it seems to be better than the one shown. The battery compartment seems to be reasonably well sealed and on the top of the unit, where there is no way it could get wet. Also, there is no pump of any kind. It uses gravity to feed the solution into the machine. I can't really see this one having the same problems as what I have heard unless it is just a piece of junk.

And now, the cons: My biggest problem with the machine is the way that it gets solution. In the model I received you invert the solution bottle and place it on the machine. It then uses gravity to fill the reservoir as needed. Cool in concept, but in practice is tends to spill more than I would like. Also, if you so much as touch the machine or think about having it on a surface that isn't completely level it will spill fluid through two small holes in the front. I believe they are there to prevent you from overfilling the machine and getting solution inside the works, but in practice they are poorly designed and are just there to spill solution.

This bubble machine actually produces too many bubbles for my small apartment so I am going to try watering down the solution in hopes of decreasing yield.

I purchased this bubble michine for my doughter's 1st birthday and it was a big hit. All of the kid's had so much fun from the ages to 11mo old to 55years. the bubble michine put's out so many bubbles at a time how could you get board... It is a fragile michine so I do recomed adult supervision so it wont get broken easy. But totally fun, fun, fun!

4 out of 5 stars Pretty good   October 1, 2008
Amber (Carson, CA)
This is a great bubble machine, but its made to set still in one place for it to work. It really uses alot of bubbles, really fast. I used 3 bottles in 1 hour and a half. The kids loved it at the party.

4 out of 5 stars Set it an forget it   August 31, 2008
M. Torino (SEUSA)
Turn it on and watch the little ones FREAK OUT! It eventually got clogged with old soap and was a minor pain to clean. It put out a good amount of bubbles and my kids loved it...they danced in the bubbles for hours.

I bought this machine for my 22 year old son who attends film school. He has used it numerous times for photo shoots. The pictures are awesome! If you would like to see a couple of them I can forward them to you. Thanks, Marilyn Sollee.
