3 out of 5 stars Magic 8 Ball adies in decision making   June 22, 2008
Johan Lang (Stafford, VA United States)
Even needed a little help making that critical decision? The Magic 8 Ball once again proves the test of time as a crucial management support tool! Seriously - the toy provides a little humor in an often time too stressful work place. And - if you don't like the answer you can always ask again and again until you get the answer that works for you!

4 out of 5 stars Super fun but...   March 8, 2008

I love my Magic 8 Ball! It's so cool to play with it and my friends love it.

The only con I've found are the small bubbles inside and sometimes the answer cube doesn't give any answer. It gets stuck on its edges sometimes and not on the plain side to give an answer.

In general it's a great buy. Thanks Amazon!

5 out of 5 stars Age that enjoys the 8 Ball   January 20, 2008
A. Evans (Provo, Utah)
It is fun for children to think of a question and then laugh at the answer that comes up. Adults like it too. Put questions on a piece of paper and put them in a draw. The "genie" with the towel around her head and too much jewelry on, rubs the eight ball and gives them their answer. It makes for a lot of laughter.

4 out of 5 stars A classic.   January 12, 2008
Koroke (Atlanta, GA)
Little can be said to describe this product. It's a classic toy of fortune-telling. Mine predicted that Bush would (sigh) win the second term in office, so it may be telling the truth when you answer the question. It also predicted that Obama and McCain would win the primaries, and Obama would win the whole thing, but we'll see about that. It's on my desk, and words cannot describe how awesome it is.
My only grudge? after a while, bubbles form inside the ball and obscure the view of the predictions. I know it was cheap, but I just wish that it was better built than to allow bubbles to form. Wait, does that mean there is a leak in the ball? Oh man. Quality control, Mattel, quality control!

5 out of 5 stars Magic 8 Ball   January 7, 2008

I bought the Magic 8 Ball for my 10-year-old brother-in-law. I wasn't totally sure if he would like it or not, but he has been having fun with it. He and his friends take turns asking it questions and think of different ways to re-word their questions when they don't get a yes or no response. I was impressed that they were putting a lot of thought into their questions even though they know not to rely too heavily on the answers. I recommend this toy.
