| Customer Reviews: Gears fans rejoice! January 3, 2010 Velma B. Hogue (KY) First things first, NECA's Gears of War action figures are the coolest toys Ive seen in all my 24 years on this planet.
This dude in particular, along with Damon Baird and the original Dom, is one of the harder to find Series 2 pieces. It seems like everyone you know thats a fan has a Marcus or Theron Guard w/o helmet figure.
Articulation is aeons better than the series 1 pieces, especially Cole. He couldnt even hold his rifle properly. I like the weight this thing has to it, it feels rock solid. The Torque Bow might require delicate hands, as it seems to be rather brittle in certain spots, but no problems as of yet. He is able to get his hand in the groove of the bow on either side for left or right handed shooting poses.
Overall, IMO the Theron Sentinel is a must have if youre a Gears fan. Buy 2 of them while youre at it. Mark my words, over the next year, as more new figures get released, this guy will be harder and harder to find, and the price will just keep going up. ***** product I <3 NECA
Gears of War figures have gotten better! November 14, 2008 Garma Zabi (California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Theron Guard looks awesome, the attention to detail is fantastic, unlike the series one figures they've given them some decent articulation in the arms legs and torso(ball joints at the shoulders and torso, knees are jointed. hands, upper arms, head and hips have some simple articulation) the joints are really stiff. The figure is rock solid, the only thing that I would be careful with is the war cape, it's not super thick so i could see it being torn easily. The torque bow looks great as well.Gears of War fans as well as collectors will surely enjoy this if they pick one up.

"Clearly The Coolest Toy You've Reviewed Yet" - The Tonka Ricochet RC Toy Review
Words of effusive praise for any toy don't come easily for my husband. While he supports my job as a toy reviewer, he shakes his head a lot. He's not crazy about the sheer number of toys I bring home in a given year, and to his credit, many of them aren't worth getting excited about. His reaction to the Tonka Ricochet RC Toy (Compare Prices) was different. ...Read Full Post
E-Z Bat Baseball Bat Toy is a Hit with Toddlers
The E-Z Bat (by Monkey Business Sports) was invented by a dad, probably because he was tired of pitching then retrieving 5000 baseballs a day. It's a simple concept that works! Kids thread the firm, foam-rubber donut-shaped ball on the end of the bat. A little stopper keeps it in place and it's a base hit every time. If you want to pitch the balls, the stopper comes off and that works just as w...
