4 out of 5 stars good value & durability for a kid   May 17, 2008
Ihatemalls (Baltimore, MD, USA)
My 4 y.o. son loves this toy, it's pretty durable, and moderately priced. Sound is funny without being too annoying. If you just want a ship for your kid to play with, this is the one. If you are a collector that wants authenticity, read the other reviews and pay more.

5 out of 5 stars She's a beauty!   April 9, 2008
Richie D. Sanque (San Diego)
This was my second Diamond Select starship. My first one was the original series Enterprise. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of that starship, so I was really looking forward to getting my Enterprise E. Overall, my expectations have been met. I love the paint job on this ship, plus the sound effects are always a pleasure. My only gripe is that the paint on the warp nacelles, specifically the ramscoops, is a bit sloppy. The painted details on everything else is very nice, though. In addition, as opposed to my other Enterprise's broken display mount, the one that comes with my Enterprise E has held up perfectly--it's a much more simple and sturdier design.
Buy one!

5 out of 5 stars Exactly what I expected, and perhaps even better!   November 7, 2007
C. Deuter (Earth, Sol System)
For the price paid, this item is a wonderful collectible. Sure, if you paid more, you could reasonably expect more features, (one feature I wish this had was the ability to just turn on the lights for display, but you cannot sadly), but you'd be expecting too much.
This model to my eye is very accurate, while some may argue the hull color itself is too 'white', I think it actually looks quite a bit like it appeared in First Concact, when Picard and Warf walk across the hull to eject the Deflector Dish.
The detailing is very nice, hull aztecing appears right on the mark. Some may find it a tad lacking where the ships many windows are concerned, as they are not painted, or lit in any way, but I again point to the price of the model. For what you pay, it really is quite nice, and worth every penny spent! I highly recommend this one to any fan who wishes to add the Enterprise E to their collection without spending huge quantities of money. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.
Live long, and prosper!

5 out of 5 stars U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E Electronic Model   October 17, 2007
P.M. Irving (Illinois, USA)
I have always wanted this toy, but they never sold it in main stream stores like Wal-Mart and Target. I was very happy with the quality of past models made by Art Asylum. So when I saw this online I new I had to get it, it got here faster than estimated and it looks absolutely amazing. I would recommend this to any one who wants a very unique and amazing model of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E
