This set of three personal video discs (PVDs) feature cartoons from three favorite animated Nick Jr. shows that are sure to please younger children. More than just videos to occupy kids' time during travel, these educational cartoons emphasize important learning concepts for preschoolers. For instance, in her adventure "Dora Saves the Prince," Dora the Explorer teaches basic Spanish words and phrases and requires kids to draw on their math and music skills to help her reach her final destination: the High Tower. The two shows on the Little Bill PVD—"Copy Cat" and "Picture Day"--present Bill tackling many of the dilemmas faced by preschoolers and finding out that little kids can actually accomplish and understand quite a bit. And the three Max & Ruby cartoons ("Hide and Seek," "Max's Breakfast," and "Louise's Secret") portray Ruby bossing Max around as usual; however, Max is always determined to forge ahead with his plans so Ruby must learn to go with the flow by the end of each episode. These PVDs only work on Hasbro's VideoNow or VideoNow Jr. color personal video player, which is portable for watching on the go.
