Great Poker Game November 24, 2008 Christy (Pittsburgh Pa.) I love the poker game, especially how it lights up when playing in the dark
In three words: Simple, Fun, Addictive July 31, 2008 William Hardin (Virgina) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
There are hundreds of handheld games out there. Many aren't fun, are poorly designed or simply don't play/work correctly. Then there are some that avoid 2 of the 3 pitfalls. And then there are the BIG SCREEN Radica games. They have the best handheld slot, blackjack, hearts and poker games that I have ever played. They are fun with proper game play. They are tough enough to last through a ton of playing and they are WELL DESIGNED. Just look at the photo of the game above. What strikes you about the game? It doesn't have tiny buttons, or a hard to read screen (heck the screen even lights up during game play). I am not sure what problem that reviewer had that rated it so low with only one complaint about the screen--as you can see from the photo, the screen is SUPER CLEAR. You can play it inside, outside, in the car, on the bus, heck even in line at the DMV. As the other reviewer said, it even keeps scores when you change the battery and it is fun enough it is hard to put down. What more do you need from a handheld game?

I bought two of the Big Screen Poker. One didn't work and the other is difficult to use because the screen is so dark. I should have sent them both back.
Excellent game December 18, 2007 P. Livingston (Scottsdale, AZ, U.S.A.) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I smoke outside on my patio, where I play this game. You have three to choose from; Draw, Deuce and Lowball. You can "Let it ride" which is fun to see your points double. The sound is good, not annoying at all. The buttons are kind of rubbery, so it's comfortable and your fingers don't slip. Also, there is a light that goes on during play, so you can play in the dark. This one also has a "silent" mode. The only drawback is that it slows down when the batteries are getting low. It does go through the batteries, but then I play this thing on and off during the day and night. So far, I haven't lost any points while replacing batteries, which is good. This one is my favorite game so far. Great buy!
