It is a good way to start teaching time March 11, 2006

As soon as my boy told me that he wanted to have his own alarm clock, since he saw that I have one, and it wakes us up everyday. I went looking for one over the internet. I got this one because it had a radio, and a night light with it. And for the price it was better than other ones that I was looking at. The night light has just an on/off button, so there is no way of adjusting the brightness. The radio reception is good but not great. I guess I can't complain too much about that since wanted a clock not a radio. The radio is nice but just not all that clear. All in all it is making my child exited to wake up in the morning, he can tell time much more better than before.

We bought this as a learning tool. My son loves to read the numbers. He knows not to get out of bed until he sees 7:00. He even uses the night light atop the clock/radio every night. The buttons are easy to operate & durable, and the radio plays nicely. It is something that will grow with your child from a learning tool for digital time-telling to an alram clock in the "tween" years! Highly recommended.

This clock is very easy for my 7 year-old to use. He is able to set the alarm time, and hit 'snooze' if he needs to. It has been knocked off the bedside table about 6 times, and it still works! It's steady and is not top-heavy, so it stays put (unless he's playing with it). The price can't be beat, and as always, I'm pleased with an item made by Little Tikes.
