Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
It appears that Hello Kitty's ice cream cone is melting. This Hello Kitty Clock Radio looks like a ice cream cone that's good enough to eat. It's an AM/FM radio with a 0.6" LED display. Use the alarm for an instant wake up, or hit the radio sleep snooze. Features a built-in AC cord and battery pack for the clock. Requires one "9V" battery (not included).

4 out of 5 stars Misleading reviews   December 6, 2005
A. Bradley (California)

My daughter is a Hello Kitty fan but her current different model clock radio is dying and she needs a new one. Rather than get the same one, I'm getting this one.

A couple of points about the two reviews on this item:

1. The warning label is required by law but nothing to worry about. Dr. Dean Edell covered this subject on his radio health show recently. His explanation was all soft cord insulation uses lead to soften it (i.e. allow it to bend), so this warning applies to all electrical products. Thank our government for requiring alarming warnings that we can't do anything about and that really don't impact our lives. California's prop 65, anyone?

2. To the second reviewer, you gave it a bad review because you don't like Hello Kitty? Why not just return it and exchange it for one you DO like instead?
