1 out of 5 stars LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer Adapter review   November 26, 2008
G. Bica (Boston, MA USA)
Basically the adapter proved useless. The computer flashed a low battery warning on screen every 3 seconds when it was running from this adapter. I ended up using a universal adapter, purchased for $[...] running at 5V instead.

My step grandson was given this a year ago. His mother isn't computer literite and thus far the child only played with the accessories. It never
got hooked up or used. Be sure the parent is able to do all the hook up connections or it won't help the child at all, unless you go to his house and do it yourself. By the time we found out, parts were missing.
Too bad since this would have really been a great educational start for him.

5 out of 5 stars A must have.   September 30, 2008

If you have the clickstart computer the power cord is a must. My son loves playing on his "computer" and the batteries ran down fast so I decided to purchase this product.

I purchased this adapter when I read the reviews from other purchasers of this product.

I totally agree that it has saved us on buying batteries over and over again. I would highly recommend this adapter for any one who buys the Leap Frog ClickStart.

5 out of 5 stars A must have   June 28, 2008
Mrs. Z (Illinois)
A must have! My 2 1/2 year old plays with his ClickStart all the time. Batteries were becoming a habit to buy. I think I paid around $10.00 with Amazon and received free shipping. Thank goodness for this computer adapter, wish more adapters were made for toys. Thanks to Amazon, I am always pricing checking for the best deals through them first and to see if that item applies to free shipping.
