Save your time and your child's spirit December 1, 2008 Morris Alpern (NYC, NY United States) Worthless! Doesn't recognize voice; doesn't 'set-up'; buy this only if you enjoy a look of utter frustration and disappointment on your childs face. The starred ratings are checked ONLY because Amazon won't publish unless at least one star per category is selected.
Didn't take password November 9, 2008 I was so excited about getting this diary for my birthday. I went into my room so no one could hear my password. I came out and asked my mom to try and get the diary open. Guess what? She pushed the button and it just opened up. Didn't even use the password. We tried 4 times with new passwords. Nope, anyone can open it. It is going back to Target today. I am extremely disappointed!
HORRIBLE Quality! Doesn't last & is upsetting when it won't work! September 14, 2008 flea (usa) Horrible quality, great concept. My daughter loved the idea of this journal when she got it. It worked for about two weeks before malfuncting. i patiently read the directions for troubleshooting tips to no avail. it never worked again--my daughter was crushed when we had to return it. we opted not to try again with another one due to the numerous negative reviews for similar problems. examples of problems: stops recognizing your voice and won't open. starts to repeat commands when you've already followed its directions etc... (annoying and what a shame)
6 yr old daughter FRUSTRATED September 13, 2008 M. Caines (Atlanta, GA) My daughter received this diary and loved it! Until she forgot how she said her password and started crying every time she couldn't remember it. I have taken it from her several times because she cried from so much frustration. When she can get it open she has a blast!
OK but... August 27, 2008 D. K. N. Palmer (Jamaica, WI.) The diary is okay but there is very little space in it for actual writing. The note pad is really little and will be finished quite soon. The fun of it was really that it has the electronic password.I bought it for a 9 year old a couple of weeks ago and she is a little bored by it already.
