The Talking Globe by GeoSafari October 12, 2008 J. J. DiGiovanni (Rhode Island) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Good information for learning but awkward to use since it is not interactive using a probe to touch areas on the Globe to get relevant information.
Santa Knows his Globe January 18, 2007 ReadingTub Reviews (Virginia, USA) 24 out of 30 found this review helpful
Santa was all set to deliver the GeoSafari Globe Jr we had asked him to bring our daughter. He took it out of the box and it looked great, had lots of light, but no sound. No matter how many times he changed the batteries, it didn't talk. Needless to say, he had to take it back to the North Pole and it did not come under our tree. About a week later, though, he left a note saying that the elves "fixed it" and put a brand new Oregon Scientific globe under the tree. The OS globe talks, has lots more categories and challenges, adjusts to ALL age ranges (from 15 to adult), and best of all can be updated (online) ... all for the same price! That Santa, he is so smart.
