Product Description Sitting on the floor is much more fun with this fantastic bead maze. It features brightly colored, multi-shaped beads that spin and slide along colorful wire pathways. Melissa & Doug toys not made in the USA November 2, 2008 M. Cramer (San Diego, CA) This toy is very good for keeping my son occupied while I'm feeding him. Without something to do, he gets bored and it's very difficult to keep him in his highchair. However, if I had known that Melissa & Doug toys were made in China, I would have found a different toy instead. I can't imagine why a company would enlist China to make simple wooden toys when we have plenty of hard working people and plenty of lumber here. I won't be buying from China this holiday season, so I won't be buying any more Melissa & Doug.
Not as entertaining as I had hoped November 2, 2008 Julie D. (Virginia Beach, VA USA) I bought this item after our daughter had shown interest in a similar one that they let her play with at a restaurant. She was 11 months old when I bought it for her, and I had hoped to find something that would keep her entertained for more than a minute or two. Unfortunately I did not find that in this item. She got bored with it very quickly. Also, the suction cups did not stick to her feeding table, so she couldn't play with it that well because it wouldn't stay up, and I wound up spending more time picking it up off the floor than she did playing with it.
Good quiet toy for a baby or toddler! October 24, 2008 Cousin It For the money this is a good toy. It is extremely well made as all Melissa and Doug items I've seen would appear to be. It has suction cups on the bottom which are very effective. My now 14 month old can if he really tries pull it off, but it really is hard for him. It is colourful and will hold his interest in his high chair for around 20 minutes on a good day. There are the different colours/shapes and it has a cause and effect thing so there is a small amount of educational value. It will also fit to tables (and to strollers if the tray is wide enough). It is also small enough to take on holiday as we did this summer.
Fun Toy October 10, 2008 Mrs. Amy Cochran (Fredericksburg, VA) I bought this for my 14 month old; she loves sliding the beads, but particularly loves "sticking" the toy suction cups on the window so that the toy is "mounted" for her to play with. This is very well made. For those who look for quality wooden toys, this is a good one to add to the collection.
Fun for all! September 23, 2008 cvb (WI) A fun toy that keeps little ones entertained. I bought it as a gift and my baby liked it so much I think I will get it for our toybox! I wish it were a bit lower priced though for its size.
