Great as a speech development tool for ages two and up, the LeapFrog magnetic set delivers hour of amusement, while teaching the alphabet. Leap into Learning Kids will dance to the music and their faces light up as they imitate the sounds. The vowels are all colored red and the consonants are yellow, blue, or green. Three AAA-size batteries are provided. Award-Winning Features This toy has received many accolades and awards from prominent toy organizations. Satisfied October 16, 2008 Marie (GA) My son's special needs teacher recommended this, and we love it. My son sings the letters and has made great progress. I am glad I bought it.
Fridge phonics alphabet set review September 26, 2008 Joseph J. Conover (Carmel. IN) both my 2 and 3 yr old love this toy. I am impressed how quickly they learned the letters.
fabulous toy September 24, 2008 Peri's Mom (Durango,CO) Bought this for my daughter's first birthday and one year later, she still loves it.It's easy for small hands and the volume is adjustable for parents needs. You can also buy extension kits with more letters.I'd get this as a gift for any kid 9 months and up.
Great product September 23, 2008 Shining Chau My son likes to listen to the ABC song, and he already can prounance A after few days, it is a great product and hope my son can continue to learn more letters from this set....
ABC Genius September 19, 2008 S. Duffy (Dallas, TX) Looks like a new design than the one we have, but I doubt that much matters. My daughter has been playing with her Fridge Phonics since she was 12 months. She's obsessed with it. By the time she was near 17 months, she had learned ALL of her letters because of this. If I ask her for a letter she goes and gets the right one. If I show her one, she can name it. If I ask her the sound, she says it. That's AWESOME. She plays with it all the time, but mainly when I'm in the kitchen doing dishes or making a meal. The ONLY negative and it's super minor, is that with 26 letters, she likes to take them all over the house...that means they can get lost easily, but as long as you just keep picking them up, we haven't truly lost any. I buy this for every 1 year old I know, which is why I'm stunned that they age starts at 24 months!?
