4 out of 5 stars Enjoying it but has issues   November 10, 2008
Cammie (leesburg, va)
We are enjoying the dollhouse. It packs a lot of punch for the dollar but it does requires some additional work on the part of the builder. The instructions were useless and it does require wood glue to hold it together. My husband also had to shave down some parts to make them fit properly. Once you get beyond the frustration of putting it together it is a fun toy. My 2 and 4 year old girls love it.

4 out of 5 stars Increased price   November 6, 2008

This house is so cute, but when I bought it, it was called "giant 3-story wooden dollhouse with accessories" and cost $60. The price has really increased. Maybe it's completely different now?

4 out of 5 stars Classic Entertainment   October 26, 2008

My Granddaughters and Grandson enjoy this wooden doll house very much. They incorporate it to their train set and other wooden blocks.

5 out of 5 stars LOVE this dollhouse!   September 18, 2008
Karen M. Andrews (N Palm Beach, FL)
I bought this dollhouse for my 2 girls ages 4 and 9 and they LOVE this. Even though the directions for assembly were a little difficult to read (only diagrams), it wasn't too bad to follow and took me about an hour to put completely together. I agree with some of the other reviews that it would be better if you use glue on some parts, but all in all it is a great sturdy dollhouse, adorable design and a great price! I give it 5 stars!

5 out of 5 stars Totally Awesome!   July 25, 2008

I was somewhat worried about the buying this dollhouse, because some of the reviews claimed it was flimsy and that they had to glue it. I decided to buy it still, because of its price and because those who gave it good reviews had really good experiences.

Well, it arrived in a huge box. Inside were two smaller boxes. I first opened a box which contained all the furniture and some of the windows. I was already impressed with the size and quality of the furniture, when I opened the second box.

I wanted to build the house before I gave it to our daughter, because I didn't want there to be any missing parts and have her be disappointed. So, I assembled it while she was asleep :)

1. The instructions are somewhat straight forward, but need a little more details or to be a bit larger. If you look into the details of the pictures on the manual then you will do just fine.

2. The metal screws go on the lowest level. The two other levels require the wooden screws.

3. The roof was a bit complicated. After 15 minutes of playing around with it, my husband actually figured it out. (I managed to do the rest on my own, so it really is easy)

4. The doors and windows are a bit challenging to put in, if you don't learn the trick. The trick is to put the side with the flexible springs in first and then you pull the bottom part towards the wall.

5. The stairs make it a bit difficult to play with the lowest level, but it didn't stop my daughter.

6. FUN FUN FUN! That's what my daughter had when she played with it.

I loved this toy and recommend it. It is very clean wood, very clean finish on the painted parts, spacious, big and the fun can be hours long!
