On a cheery carpet of blueberry-blue-and-white gingham, a sparkling porcelain tub stands ready for bathtime. An old-fashioned shower stand sits nearby. The bath tray, resting across the tub, is fully stocked with soap, shampoo, cream rinse, lotion, powder, and perfume bottles for after-bath pampering. A snowy towel is folded at the ready, and a shower curtain on its own stand provides privacy for critters in the buff. The Calico Critters Bathroom Set, which includes six furniture pieces and over 30 accessories, is so detailed that there's even a plug for the tub and plumbing under the sink. The slippers fit furry feet and the scrub brushes and toothbrushes fit into tiny paws. Crafted of high-quality plastic, these are working toys: cupboards open and close and the toilet seat raises and lowers. Even the mirror is made of top-quality glass. Everything you can think of is included, from the fabric seat cover to the cleaning supplies--and yes, there's an extra roll of toilet paper. My youngest daughter recently discovered the Calico Critters world and was instantly hooked. The bathroom set is as depicted, and I was surprised the detail of some of the accessories (for example the soap even has a separate soap dish).
But the pieces such as the toothbrush, shampoo, etc., are really small and are easy to lose, and could swallowed by smaller children.
The Calico Critters products are well crafted, but I fully expect many of the cool tiny pieces to get lost soon enough.

The level of detail in the Calico Critters toys I've given my daughter has been astonishing -- THIS is what toys ought to be like! They're utterly precious, very tiny and very, VERY detailed, absolutely wonderful! Expect a difficult time getting the tiny toilet seat cover onto the toilet seat. I was successful after turning it inside-out and then gently working it onto the toilet seat. Be patient and identify the items the stickers are meant for. Some of the stickers are incredibly small, so plan on being patient there, too. But isn't that what being a parent is about? Patience..?
These are DELIGHTFUL toys and worth every single penny. 100% satisfied.

My daughter (almost 3yo) got this and a few other Calico Critters sets a month ago and I have never seen a child so thrilled for so long. She plays with these for at least an hour or more everyday and although prefers to play with other people, plays by herself with these too. We had to move these toys into a separate room because she was too excited to sleep or eat with them within eyeshot! I have never seen her like this!

My four year old daughter loves the calico critters line but our favorite so far is probably this bathroom set. She loves to have them takes baths and go potty and we are amazed at the tiny toothpaste and toothbrush, the little sponge, back scrubber, soap and bottles for the bath and even a bucket with toilet cleaner and brush. this set is not for a child who loves to haul pieces all over the house though. My daughter is pretty good at keeping the pieces in the dollhouse but if she wasn't I would be disappointed because it is such a CUTE set! We really have been delighted with all the calico critters sets we have (about 5 now). They are great products to encourage imagination and role play.

I was given this beautiful set a few years ago, and I still treasure it today! Calico Critters look soooo cute sitting in the bathtub, (the little ones especially with their ears sticking out!!). This set should definitely be for older kids because of the small parts like shampoo and rinse bottles, wash brush, perfume, etc. The neat thing about this set is you actually get to stick the labels on almost everything like shampoo, toothpaste etc. Even the toilet seat and lid covers are very nicely made! I would highly reccommend this set to anyone that has any Calico Critters, kids and adults alike! I am almost 12 years old and I still have hours of fun with Calico Critters!!
