The price of this doll was definitely right, but I wouldn't spend any more on it. The hair is plastic. My 10 year old daughter wasn't too thrilled with it, even though it was given to her along with the princess.

This doll is a great addition to the Barbie Island Princess collection. He is quite handsome and his clothes are sparkley and colorful. My 3 yr old daughter likes him almost as much as the girl dolls. Her creative play is definitely enhanced by adding a male charater.
