Cheap, falls apart WAY too easily November 30, 2008 Jennifer's Bookshelf (Troy, OH USA) My son enjoys this toy and the accessories that came with it, but his fun is limited by the fact that it is so cheaply made. The doors fall off of this thing if you so much as breathe on it too hard. I'm aggravated every time he plays with it because he's bringing it to me every two minutes to try to put it back together. He started to enjoy it a bit more when he gave up on the doors altogether and started using it as a flat-bed truck. Also, the sound effects only work sporadically with the one we got. I would not purchase this toy again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone I know. I only give it a generous 2 stars because he does seem to like it in spite of its' flaws.
Flawed Toy April 19, 2008 GamerGrrl 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As stated by everyone, the doors fall off easily, to the point where you can't even open or close the doors. This toy could have been great fun for the kids, but this flaw makes it annoying and useless.
My son loves this thing.... February 8, 2008 PCG (CT Shoreline) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
But it drives me crazy. I probably reattach the sides of the truck seven or eight times a day. It doesn't take much at all to knock them loose, but they do snap right back on. Other than that annoyance, this is a good toy. My son is almost three and got this for Christmas. He had been asking for it for quite some time, and he does play with it a lot. He likes the sound effects, the truck came with some nice accessories (plane, boat, animals, computers), and he also uses with with other Diego figures and vehicles. So while I'm not thrilled with the design of the toy, my son absolutely loves it.
My son loves it, but the doors are poorly designed! February 1, 2008 Anna B. Cassidy (Philadelphia, PA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As the majority of the reviews are pointing out, the door IMMEDIATELY start falling off every time you open it. My son got it last night and it happened within the first 5 minutes (and he was playing with it gently and appropriately). While we are able to reattach them, it appears to already showing signs of wear and it is getting increasingly difficult. He is 3.5 years old and after a little over a day still loves it. He has learned how to reattach the doors himself. It is WAY too expensive to have such a flaw. While it will not be returned (it is his potty training reward), I will be contacting Fisher Price).
The doors falling off will drive YOU crazy! January 21, 2008 Kristi Purcell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this van for my son for Christmas and he really liked it until the doors continued to fall off EVERY TIME he touches it. Also, the items that come with the van do not all fit into the doors at one time. I would not buy this toy again for anyone.
