Product Description
Filled with toys, treats and lots of cozy places to take a nap, the Little Lovin' Pet Playhouse is one cool, comfy hangout! Unfold the playset for curious critter excitement! Watch as the puppy magically opens the toy box to reveal its favorite toy, or have the puppy touch the fire hydrant, and a cozy loft bed pops down. Slide the lever to make the fish swim up and down. When your hamsters are finished running on the wheel, move the wand and a hamster will slide through the tube and land on a cozy soft bed of its own.

The Little Lovin' Pet Playhouse folds up for on-the-go fun. The puppy and hamster that are included are cute little friends, just for you. This fun-filled playset is filled with lots of activities for all your little pets. Magnet-activated features make for lots of fun surprises. Folds up for easy storage. Includes two figures, hamster wheel, food dish, toy, doggie bed and wood chips.

Editorial Review
Imagine a combination spa and playground…this is life in the Littlest Pet Shop! A bobble-headed puppy and hamster have the run of this folding plastic play set, with a clear tube for the hamster to run through, a hydrant/sleeping loft for the pooch, a fish tank with "swimming" fish, an exercise wheel, and lots more. Magnets imbedded in the pets and some of the accessories allow magical action: running hamsters, a toy box that pops open, and the convertible hydrant. Puppy and Hamster can invite over some of their other Littlest Pet Shop bobblin'-headed friends (not included), and let them spin in front of a window, preen in the bathroom or hang out on any of the various perches and nap spots throughout the shop. Cute and clever--sure to inspire hours of absorbing entertainment! --Emilie Coulter

3 out of 5 stars Daughter loves it, but questionable durability...   April 9, 2008
C. Crockett (Tampa, FL)
My daughter (3 years old) was absolutely ecstatic when she received this toy. From the description, I thought this would be something that when closed my daughter would be able to easily take with her when traveling but that's not really the case. Yes, the toy does close but there is no mechanism or latch to keep it closed so the doors just swing back open if you try to carry it. Also, all the pieces do not fit inside of the toy as I had thought they would.

From day one I've had to put parts of the toy back together. The hamster tube seems to constantly be pulling apart at the seams and I don't really expect this toy to last past several months. That being said, it was not all that expensive and my daughter is having a lot of fun with it. Parents beware...once you purchase your child's first LPS toy you will forever be buying more and more to go with it, they seem to be addictive.

2 out of 5 stars The other playsets are a better buy   January 2, 2008
W. Noggle (Grand Blanc, MI)
I bought my daughter multiple playsets for Christmas from the LPS series. Round round pet town was vy far a more sturdy set and has more to do. THe hampster run on top of this set did not accurately fit and we were unable to put any animals inside or even get it securely fastened. Personally, I feel there are better built sets than this one, and this one has the least amount to do as far as pretend play goes.

3 out of 5 stars Lots of fun, but breaks easily   December 28, 2007
Ashley M. Muzzy
Kids absolutely love this, they seem to love any littlest pet shop toy. The pets that come with it are really cute, especially the hamster. But it is not a durable toy at all. The hamster tube and the fish tank are always coming apart. It is sort of easy to put them back together, I've already taught my 4 year old how to fix the fish tank when it comes off.

Also, plan to set aside at least 5-10 minutes of time when you open it. There are countless rubber bands and wire ties holding this toy in the packaging. Be very careful taking off the rubber bands around the hamster tube, if you arent extremely gentle with it the tube will fall apart.

Even though it does break frequently I would still recommend it because my daughter absolutely loves it, as does every other child that has been here playing with it.

5 out of 5 stars My 6-year-old loves this toy!   December 24, 2007
M. B. Snider (Spencerport, NY)
This is a great little-pet-shop toy! There are a TON of pieces -- animals etc -- and lots of little pop-up suprises to play with. It comes with hamster "litter" and "wood chips", and even a dog toy for the puppy. My daughter adores this toy and is really enjoying it. The hamster tube is really cute too -- looks like the hamster is moving on his own. A good value for the money.

5 out of 5 stars This item started an obsession for her..   March 21, 2007

This is the set that started a new love for my daughter. We bought this set for her on a whim, hoping she would enjoy it and wow... did she ever. The first time she set it up, she played with it all day! And now, she owns just about every Littlest Pet Shop set. She requests them for birthday and christmas gifts. Great toy!
