Product Description 3 years & up. For young minds taking flat objects and constructing 3-D objects is a new and exciting discovery. Each tile is constructed with bright translucent colors with magnets on all sides. The secret is the unique ability to attract even when they are flipped. 32 piece set.

Good age span October 5, 2008 E. A. Palmer (New York State) I purchased the Magna tiles as a birthday gift for a 5 year old who is very active and tends to drive his mom crazy running around the house all day. The tiles keep him busy for quite awhile and he is really enjoying them. His older (8 year old) brother loves them too and it is an opportunity for them to actually work together cooperatively (at least so far!). Based on the mother's glowing thanks, I highly recommend them.
Awesometastic. August 5, 2008 Michael Palmer (California) This product was thuroughly enjoyed by the 3 year old, the 2 year old and, sadly, the 24 year old. The pieces are durable and will last the children's lifetime, more than likely. I would highly recomment this product if it was about $30 cheaper. As it stands, I only lightly recommend this product highly. -Michael
It's a toss up as to who loves this toy most! May 7, 2008 ISUGrads97 (Illinois) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son received this for his 2nd birthday a few months ago, because of his intrest in it at a local children's museum. All I can say is that I'm uncertain who loves it more, him or his parents! It certainly sparks creative thinking as we try to outdo each other in our creations! I didn't realize that I had it in MYSELF to be so creative. This toy just brings it out of you. I swear I find myself playing with it for long periods of time when I'm actually just supposed to be putting it away! It's quite peaceful actually! The mathmatical concepts it's already teaching my son make it priceless as well! He's learning spacial reasoning, critical thinking (will this structure hold if I...) as well as shapes, colors and creativity. If you are like me, I faithfully read all the reviews before purchasing an item and went with others suggestions and purchased the clear tiles. Personally I like the clear tiles! The uses seem to be endless. I must add that although it is a large monetary investment, I feel it is wiser to purchase the set of 100 as 32 simply isn't enough. This toy will certainly span the ages, thus worth the investment.
GREAT PRODUCT February 12, 2008 705Emily This toy is fantastic!! The only thing that could improve upon it would be to make a set that has diffent size squares (large ones and smaller sizes) so that structures could be sturdier. Other than that--this product is simply great! My son and daughter play with it every day and make garages, churches, castles,---you name it! Worth every penny!
magna-tiles--great!!! February 9, 2008 R. Leggio (Birmingham, Alabama United States) Great for 3 yrs. + imagination and creative thinking!!! A must have! A little expensive, however worth it because this is great for multiple ages beginning with 3 for basic building up to 8-9 for spacial and creative thinking.
