One of the best and most affordable toy sets available! May 7, 2008 Moe (Dallas, TX) My daughter loves these toys. The ball is so amazing, she has preferred it over all her Lamaze toys for months. It is easy to grab with little hands, and there is lots of texture for her to chew on. She loves the crab and worm as well, but the ball alone makes this set worth purchasing. My daughter IS rough with it and we have never had any safety issues, (other than her chunking it at herself or others...LOL). I give this set a whole-hearted 5 stars.
Happy Crab is a must have March 16, 2008 E. Bobowski (United States) This seems to be a very good set for a range of developmental stages. My son started loving the "Happy Crab" at 4mo, and hasn't stopped at 7mo. He is now growing into a luke-warm relationship with the inchworm, but so far hasn't yet been digging the giggle ball - though he has hit himself in the head with it to his dismay. I would expect that as his dexterity continues to grow his enjoyment of the other toys will as well, but in my opinion the happy crab is worth the purchase price all on its own.
Lots of playtime! January 19, 2008 ivy6915 (Dallas,Tx) i got 2 of these gift set for each of my nefews and one likes the crab the most, and the other like the ball. you can't take any of them away without a fight!
A daycare favorite! December 17, 2007 Crystal M. Monroe (Kentucky) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As soon as my daughter transferred to the 6-12 month room at daycare she discovered the giggle ball! Those little crawlers literally fought over it. I looked around forever trying to find one, but now that I have she's almost a year old and is no longer interested. This is a great toy to buy as soon as they sit up on their own!
some parts are better than others November 28, 2007 DE Mom (Newark, DE United States) I got this when my first child was a baby. He really only liked the crab b/c it was the easiest for him to hold onto. He laughed when someone else squeezed the eyes to make them squeek. But it's impossible for a small child to do. My daughter 2 years later liked the caterpillar. (Be aware, it's very hard. She often would hit herself with it accidentally!) Neither one of them every did much with the larger "ball" type thing. It's too heavy for a baby to be able to do much with.
