4 out of 5 stars Fun, simple craft type activity for girls   June 27, 2008
Teacher Mommy (San Diego, CA)

I bought this for my daughter for her 7th birthday party. Each box allows you to make three different scented body glitters. I thought my daughter and her friends - who love to make things and love glitter - would really enjoy this activity at her birthday party. But once the party started my daughter decided she didn't want to do it with all her friends. So later that day she and one of the girls each opened their own box and "glitterfied". They had a great time mixing the base with the scents -- it was very simple and needed little supervision. They dusted themselves with the power and spent a good hour with it. Unfortunately, with toys like this -- like most craft toys -- it is rare that the child returns to the play with it again. She did come back a week later and make another batch but that was it. She now uses the ice cream containers to hold other things but that's it. So overall I'd say it's a fun craft type toy -- good for a playdate activity, a girl who likes making things, or a small birthday party.
