5 out of 5 stars Excellent for elementary school kids   November 2, 2008
TLB (North Potomac, MD)
Our kids, age 8 and 10, have been using this marker set for the last 2 years and love it. They use it for both play and school projects. The overall quality is excellent and there are plenty of color choices. Whenever they need to color something for school, this is the set they grab first.

Highly recommend this product.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing value!   May 28, 2008
J. Arena (Williamsburg, VA)
Alex 100 Colors Rainbow Markers in a Carry Case is quite a remarkable value. The array of colors is dazzling to a child (Hey, I was impressed, myself!) and will be a constant companion through many art and craft projects.

I can't imagine a better bargain, considering the number and durability of the colors. The lovely, clear packaging is quite an added bonus!

You absolutely will not go wrong buying this set!

My sister liked it enough to have it under the tree unwrapped on Christmas morning from Santa. My neices response (she'll be 7 this month) was "Wow, I've never seen so many colors"! Highly reccomended for older (school-age) children.

3 out of 5 stars not great quality   January 4, 2007

I didn't realize when I purchased this set that the pens are about half the size of regular pens and with fine tips. Not overly impressed with the quality of writing and true to color. Good for older kids that are gentler on the pens than a really young child might be. An ok buy for the cost.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely a treat   September 21, 2006

My three year old grips these perfectly. And the array of colors make them such an enticing reason to try to learn to write. A great set of markers. Really really great.
